I know from personal experience that Scriptwriting can be both lonely & maddeningly frustrating. Have I written my Magnum Opus or something absolutely terrible? When it's your own work, it can be impossible to know!
That's where I come in. As a Freelance Script Reader I have read and provided script coverage for numerous UK Production Companies (Character Seven & Birdie Pictures to name a couple) and have a practiced eye at spotting potential, identifying issues and offering advice on solutions. I have also spent plenty of time around Writers and Producers and can provide insight into the UK Film & TV industry at large.
In my notes I will focus on the key aspects of screenwriting as advised by the Companies I read for but can tailor my feedback to your preferences. I can also advise on next steps for you as a writer to build a profile and work towards making those all important industry contacts. On the rare occasion where I read a script that I think is industry-ready I will discuss with you the possibility of handing it up to a Production Company.
My service is simple. I will do multiple read-throughs of your script and provide you with detailed, industry-standard notes as well as recommended next steps and amendments, for the cost of £0.65 per page. There's no maximum or minimum page count, although naturally the length of your script will affect recommendations I can make.
I also offer 1 hour zooms to talk through your notes in more detail. I love talking scripts so I thoroughly encourage you to reach out for a chat! Zooms are £30 for the hour.
Examples of cost breakdown:
47 page script feedback = £30.55
30 page script feedback with 1 hour zoom chat = £19.50 + £30 = £49.50 total
If you're interested or have any questions please drop me an email or fill out the form below. I look forward to working with you on your Script!
PLEASE NOTE: Do not send me your script until you have made contact and I have agreed to read your work. I will have to delete without reading all scripts that I receive unsolicited.
